Red Sox vs. White Sox lineup: Chris Sale takes the mound as Boston looks for sweep

The Red Sox are 10-3 over their last 13 games, will Chris Sale help Boston continue this hot streak?

The Chicago White Sox have definitely given the Boston Red Sox a rough time at Fenway Park over the past couple of days, but the Red Sox have prevailed and now they’re looking to sweep Chicago before heading off to London.

Andrew Benintendi is out of the lineup this afternoon as J.D. Martinez will take left field and Eduardo Nunez will DH. Rafael Devers is looking to continue his hot streak at Fenway this afternoon as he bats second behind Mookie Betts.

Boston is seemingly heating up at the right time and if they keep it up, will be able to catch their rival in New York.

Chris Sale is 3-7 on the season with a 3.59 ERA and he’ll be looking to lower his ERA against the White Sox. Similarly, Reynaldo Lopez is 4-7 with a 6.23 ERA and he’ll look to help his team avoid the sweep on Wednesday.

Here are the starting lineups:
