Bobby Dalbec, 3B: 0-2, 2 BB, 1 K
Joey Curletta, 1B: 2-4, 1 R, 1 E
Brett Netzer, 2B: 1-3, 1 BB, 1 R
Luke Tendler, LF: 2-4, 1 2B, 2 RBI

Durbin Feltman: 1 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 1 K (15 pitches)
Portland ends the first half of their season with a win and on a nice little hot streak, which is big because for the first time the Eastern League is playing two half-seasons. So, in other words, the Sea Dogs can try to carry this momentum into a new season starting this weekend. In this game in paricular it was all about the run prevention. Kent had himself a game, and Feltman tossed another scoreless inning as he turns his year around. That said, he did still allow a couple of baserunners so it wasn’t a perfect day.
Lowell L 1-2
Ricardo Cubillan, 3B: 2-4, 1 K, 1 E
Nick Decker, RF: 0-4, 1 K
Antoni Flores, SS: 0-3
Jaxx Groshans, DH: 0-3
Joan Martinez: 2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 3 K (26 pitches)
Brendan Nail: 2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 4 K (32 pitches)
Lowell has a whole lot of exciting hitters in their lineup, and yet days like this can still happen. Baseball, ya know? Flores is off to a tough start here in the extremely early going. It’s been four games so obviously don’t read much into it, but he only has two hits in those four games. Some believed he had a chance to be the organization’s top prospect at the end of the year, which gives an idea of his big potential. Also, Martinez looked good in a rehab appearance and Groshans made his professional debut.
DSL 1 L 2-5
Brainer Bonaci, SS: 2-3, 1 2B, 1 BB
Eduardo Lopez, CF: 3-4, 1 2B, 1 R, 1 K, 1 SB
Richardson Jimenez: 3 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 4 K
DSL 2 L 6-7
Bryan Gonzalez, RF: 2-4, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 RBI, 1 K, 1 E
Noelberth Romero, 3B: 2-4, 1 R
Axel James, 2B: 2-3, 1 3B, 2 R
I am tired from last night’s game and, frankly, have nothing to say here. Nice to see a good game from Lopez, I suppose.
