The Red Sox have won five games in a row and are coming off a sweep on the road in Baltimore against the Orioles. Now, they go from playing the league’s worst team to the league’s best, at least by record. The Twins have shocked people with elite play this year. While many believed they could be a surprise contender in the AL Central, myself included, that was more a shot at the Indians than confidence in the Twins. Silly us. Minnesota is legitimately scary, and we’ll get our first look at them on Monday. In this series opener, Boston sends Rick Porcello to the mound to take on José Berríos. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 PM ET, and this will be your space to discuss the action.

That Merrimack Valley Life
Love seeing Lawrence, Mass. native Leon Paulino sign with the Sox. I have visions of the Sox signing North Andover's Sebastian Keane as well and them teaching everyone in the system to play 45s. #merrimackvalley
