The Red Sox look to pick up where they left off against the Rays when they meet tonight in Fenway Park at 7:10 behind 31-year-old Josh A. Smith. Wait, what?

Yes, the man with the 5.30 ERA has been recalled from Pawtucket to exercise his inherent Quad-A ness. The Rays start Charlie Morton, who is a real baseball starter and everything. Other than Smith, status normal on the Sox lineup side — same exact slate as Wednesday — and I just squeezed Endgame in and have to snap this one out quickly so don’t have much to add.
