Chris Sale pitches tonight, and it’s a good example of why you give the summer house for a pitcher like him. He was bad in his first outing, he’s on the road but he’s still Chris Sale, and it’ll play. Lose this one and you can raise your eyebrows, but you gotta wait for it to happen first, hater(s).
The Sox roll out an extremely basic Sox lineup with Brock Holt at second base instead of Eduardo Núñez but otherwise normal. The A’s are the A’s, in that I told you yesterday Khris Davis was gonna take David Price deep but have nothing else to add. Here are the full lineups:
