Red Sox vs. Orioles lineup: Rick Porcello looks to continue winning streak, Chris Davis show

Today’s game is not without its share of morbid curiosity.

The Red Sox (5-9) can sustain their first official winning streak of 2019 with a victory over the Orioles (5-9) this afternoon at Fenway Park (1:05 p.m., NESN, MLBN out-of-market). Rick Porcello pitches for the Sox. This is his year in a nutshell:

Anyhow, Dustin Pedroia is back and he is good at fielding, so that is good. He’s batting eighth. More notable is that Steve Pearce is in at first base against the righty, likely just for some reps, but Mitch Moreland stays in the lineup as DH for hitting-everything reasons. Jackie Bradley Jr.’s the odd man out, which puts Mookie Betts in center field for the Chris Davis show, which begins in earnest again on the Baltimore side. He’s 0-54 to start the year, and this still applies:
