Which player will lead the Red Sox to glory in 2019?

We are now just a few days away from the regular season kicking off in earnest, with the Red Sox having just two more exhibition games remaining before the real ones begin. As such, it’s time to start projecting the season a bit. If you’ve been here over the last few years, you likely remember our six superlative polls, which will come out over the next three days. If you aren’t familiar, well, it’s not that complicated. We’ll have votes on Team MVP, Best Pitcher, Defensive Wizard, Biggest Surprise, Biggest Disappointment and Unsung Hero. This vote will be for Team MVP.

This one, at least on the surface, seems very easy. I mean, that guy in the picture at the top of this page won the MVP for the whole damn American League last year. There’s a good chance he runs away with this one. On the other hand, MVP doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone. To some, it just simply means best players. Others add a little more nuance and importance to intangible factors, which could lead to more disagreement in the poll than one would think at first. Make your voice heard and vote in the poll below. If you’re choice is not listed, just drop a note in the comments and I’ll get in and add that choice as soon as I get the chance.
