The Red Sox take on the Tigers on the road on Thursday, trying to snap their current seven-game losing streak. As has been repeated a million times at this point, we can’t read too much into these results. That said, winning is better than losing in any context. For this game they’ll have Eduardo Rodriguez on the mound to start. Look for him to try and keep attacking the zone, hopefully keeping the pitch count down. Also of note on the pitching side is Durbin Feltman travelling with the club. For the hitters, it’s a mix of regulars and minor leaguers. Particularly notable is Blake Swihart starting at DH. He’s been hot lately as he tries to win a roster spot in the three-man catcher position battle.
