Welcome back! It has been two long and frigid weeks since our last episode. Nothing massive has happened with the Red Sox between that episode and this one which is why we’ve been adhering to our biweekly schedule. Now we have finally reached the Winter Meetings in San Diego! Every season the Winter Meetings are the offseason baseball event that every fan circles on the calendar.

This offseason has already been way better than last with massive contracts already inked, trades having occurred, and momentum towards the biggest free agents on the market signing before Christmas. You’d almost be able to convince yourself that MLB listened to the complaints of their fans last year. It is within the realm of possibility that deals for Gerrit Cole, Anthony Rendon, and Stephen Strasburg could all happen this week.

The Red Sox, however, will not be in the market for these studs. The Red Sox have been doing far more work shopping their own goods than looking for additions. The big questions for this week surrounding the Red Sox will be:

· Is there a suitor for Mookie Betts?

· How aggressively will the team shop Jackie Bradley Jr.?

· What would it take to move David Price or Nathan Eovaldi?

· Will the team fill in one if its gaps either in the rotation or on the right side of its infield during this week?
