Happy Monday everyone. In the Boston sports world we have some Celtics action coming tonight as they finally return home after a long and tough west coast trip. They’ll be taking on the Kings (likely without Kemba Walker) in a game that tips off at 7:30 PM ET. Meanwhile, it’s a solid Monday Night Football game tonight with Lamar Jackson and the Ravens heading to L.A. to take on the Rams, whose backs are against the wall for a playoff spot. College basketball also continues its run of in-season tournaments with games pretty much all day including an intriguing Michigan State-Virginia Tech matchup at 5:00 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I Like Today
I’m actually not entirely sure if I like this or not, but the new NBA schedule proposal is at least interesting. We don’t know how much if any of this will actually happen, of course, but this is something for all sports fans to keep an eye on because if it’s successful I’d expect to see some of these concepts — mainly the midseason tournament — spread to other leagues as well.
