This is a little late getting out, I realize. I’m battling some sickness right now, and this is the first time in several hours I’ve been able to think straight for more than thirty seconds.
While we’re riding the train of momentum, let’s just get right to the point for this week’s exercise (which will be extended to Wednesday this time around).
Who is your favorite acquisition in Red Sox history?
Yep, it’s that simple. You can choose any free agent signing ever. You can choose any trade ever. You can choose any player with the caveat that they could not have come up in our farm system (unless we later acquired them in a trade or free agency signing later down the line). So that means no Mookie Betts or Dustin Pedroia, etc. You can choose anyone else.
Tell us why they were your favorite acquisition, and perhaps a good story that happened after the acquisition.
We’ll collect responses through Wednesday, and hit you with a flyby then. Happy posting!
