Happy Wednesday everyone. Today is a very fun day in the baseball world with not one but two decisive Game Fives on the docket on the NL side of the bracket. Things start off with the last game of what has been a thrilling series between the Braves and Cardinals. It looks like a pitching matchup in favor of St. Louis, as they have ace Jack Flaherty going up against Mike Foltynewicz. That one starts at 5:07 PM ET. Meanwhile, the Nationals and Dodgers head out west to L.A. for the final game of their series, with a must-see pitching matchup between Stephen Strasburg and Walker Buehler. That one starts at 8:37 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I Like Today
Many of you have problem seen the picture floating around from last weekend of the woman in the stands of the Kansas football game knitting by herself. It was a viral hit this weekend, and Nicole Auerbach of The Athletic tracked down the student and talked to her. It resulted in a wonderful story of a non-football fan at a game for a different reason who also happens to run a great organization related to the knitting. Highly recommend this story for a nice pick-me-up.
