Happy Sunday everyone. Today is a fun day of sports that, of course, starts with football. There’s a billion 1:00 games on the docket today, most important to us being the Patriots taking on Washington as New England tries to get to 5-0 to start the year. So much for their typical slow start, I suppose. Once those games are over, it will be time for the baseball to start up with a pair of tied NLDS’s going on today. First up is the Braves and Cardinals in St. Louis, which has Mike Soroka taking on Adam Wainwright at 4:10 PM ET. After that, the Dodgers and Nationals take the field in Washington with Max Scherzer going against Hyun-Jin Ryu. That one starts at 7:45 PM ET. Sunday also marks the first Celtics game of the year as they have a preseason contest against the Hornets at 6:00 PM ET. Sunday Night Football tonight is Colts-Chiefs. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I like Today
The NBA is back! Well, there have been a handful of preseason games around the league already but the Celtics season begins in earnest today. Those who know me know basketball is a very close number two to baseball for me, and I am very much into the Celtics specifically. I am very excited for this season, even if there is next to no chance at a Finals appearance. There are so many sports on today but I will definitely have an eye on that preseason game. Do with that information what you will.
