Happy Saturday everyone. The MLB postseason chugs along on Saturday with a pair of American League games on the docket. First up is the second game of Yankees-Twins with Minnesota trying to steal one of these games in New York and tie this series up at a game apiece. It’s going to be Masahiro Tanaka going up against Randy Dobnak. First pitch is set for 5:07 PM ET. After that, the Rays will be looking to tie up their own series against the Astros, with a matchup of the 2018 Cy Young winner against the potential 2019 winner in Blake Snell against Gerrit Cole. That one gets started at 9:07 PM ET. Elsewhere, the Bruins are out in Arizona tonight with a game against the Coyotes. That one starts at 9:00 PM ET. There is also college football on all day with the marquee matchup being Auburn against Florida at 3:30 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.

Thing I (don’t) Like Today

Today we have a thing I don’t really like but think is important. Many have probably seen what’s happened at Sports Illustrated, with about half of their staff being laid off and the entire business model being flipped around. It’s not great. Ray Ratto has a really good piece about it.
