Happy Wednesday everyone. Today could actually be basically a sports-less day for us, depending on the weather. The Yankees and Astros are scheduled to play Game Four of the ALCS tonight, but rain is looking likely all throughout that area. Accuweather says it’s more likely than not to be raining until 2 AM, and they aren’t starting a game at 2 AM. So, most likely at this point is that the game will be pushed back to Thursday, eliminating the scheduled day off on Friday. Meanwhile, neither the Celtics nor the Bruins play and there’s no football tonight. There is hockey on NBCSN if you’re looking for something, but to me this sounds like a night to sleep, which is very good. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I like today
Playoff baseball always includes concerns about shadows. I am very glad someone actually studies the effects here to determine if this was a real thing or one of those issues announcers make up. A very interesting read.
