OTM Open Thread 10/13: It is Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone. The MLB Playoffs continue tonight with just one game as the Astros look to recover and tie this ALCS back up before they head back east. We already saw the Nationals take control of their series with two road wins to start things off, and the Yankees have a chance to do the same tonight. They’ll have James Paxton on the mound while the Astros go with Justin Verlander. First pitch is set for 8:08 PM ET. Meanwhile, it is Sunday so there is football on all day. The Patriots already played on Thursday, so no local ones today. There is a morning game for those of us on the East Coast, though, with the Panthers and Bucs playing in London starting at 9:30 AM ET. Sunday Night Football this week is Steelers-Chargers. There is also some preseason NBA action with the Celtics taking on the Cavs at 3:00 PM ET. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.

Thing I Like Today

Generally speaking I am not a big SNL fan. I’ll watch some if I really like the host or the musical guest, but mostly it is just very much not for me. They had a very good sketch last night making fun of the new Joker movie, though.
