Happy Saturday everyone. We have two baseball games today for possibly the last time all year. Things kick off with the second game of the NLCS, with Max Scherzer taking on Adam Wainwright. This is a huge pivot point for this series, as Washington will be in total control if they are able to take each of the first two games of this one on the road. That game starts at 5:08 PM ET. The ALCS kicks off after that, with the Yankees down in Houston and Masahiro Tanaka set to take on Zack Greinke. That one starts at 8:08 PM ET. The Bruins are also in action tonight, finally back on the East Coast with a 7:00 start against the Devils. Meanwhile, it’s Saturday so there’s college football on all day, with Oklahoma-Texas and Florida-LSU being the day’s marquee matchups. Use this space to discuss whatever you’d like. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I Like Today
El Camino was good. It was extremely fan service-y and the popular criticism seems to be that it “doesn’t need to exist” but, well, what work of fiction does? It was a great addition to the Breaking Bad story and I’m glad it was made. That’s all I’ll say to I don’t spoil it for those who still want to watch.
