Happy Tuesday everyone. Baseball is back in our lives after a brief day off on Monday, and while the Red Sox are not involved the start of the postseason is still always exciting. Things kick off tonight with the National League Wildcard Game between the Nationals and Brewers. I’m taking Washington in a 6-2 game. That one starts at 8:08 PM ET and will be broadcast by TBS. There’s also the second game of the WNBA Finals between Connecticut and Washington tonight at 8:00 PM ET on ESPN. You can use this space to discuss whatever you’d like — and we’re not going to do separate threads for postseason games this year so this will be that space. As always, just be nice to each other.
Thing I Like Today
I really enjoyed this piece on the closing of Globe Life Park in Texas. The park is so relatively new for one that it is closing that I sort of brushed any nostalgia for it as ridiculous, but this changed my mind.
