The Red Seat: Episode 92- What will the Red Sox playoff roster look like?

There is still a lot that can change over the final full month of the regular season, but we think we have a pretty good idea.

MLB: Boston Red Sox at Atlanta Braves Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

Heading into an exciting weekend series vs the Astros the Red Sox have already amassed 97 wins and lead both the Yankees and the Astros by 9.5 games. The AL East looks wrapped up and now so does the best record in baseball. Something would need to go catastrophically wrong for those two things not to happen. Should things turn out how we expect they will cruise into the post season with home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Matt and I discuss what a possible 25-man playoff roster. The last spot was up for some significant debate. The Red Sox have some interesting decisions to make and will use September to collect as much data as possible. The battle between Nunez and Devers for the starting job at third and the three way catcher battle are of particular interest as the Red Sox seek to close out the last full month of the regular season on a high note.
