Red Sox at Braves Lineups: Going for a sweep with a funky lineup

Let’s get weird

The Red Sox have taken the first two games of this series in Atlanta and have a sizable margin of victory between the two contests. They are putting themselves to the test in the third game, and while anything can happen in baseball it would be truly impressive if they come away with the sweep. With the short turnaround playing at noon the day after a 7:30 game, Alex Cora is going with a funky lineup. To make matters even more fun, they are going against All-Star Mike Foltynewicz who has been the best pitcher on the division-leading Braves this year. It’s going to be wild.

Oh, and on the other side of things the Red Sox are sending Hector Velazquez out for a spot start in Atlanta. The righty has certainly had some impressive moments this year and he can always get himself through four or five solid innings, but he’s been less than great of late and doesn’t inspire a ton of confidence. So, yeah. Good times. Here are the full lineups.
