Daily Red Sox Links: The Red Sox are American League East Champions

The good news is the Red Sox finally claimed the AL East title last night. However, slumps from the bullpen and offense have soured the last few weeks. Plus Matt Barnes is back and Mitch Moreland is struggling.

Ladies and gentlemen, the Boston Red Sox are the 2018 American League East champions. This marks their third-straight division title. In addition, it came against the New York Yankees and since the Sox escaped without getting swept in New York, a cheer and a sigh of relief are in order.

Now that we’ve covered the good news, let’s get to the rest of it.
