Red Sox at Royals lineup: David Price starts in very much not Yankee Stadium

His big-town blues might be melting away tonight in Kansas City.

MLB: Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees
He will be better this time, I promise.

The Red Sox (60-29) look to beat up the lowly Royals (25-62) again tonight in Kansas City (7:15 p.m., FOX) behind David Price (9-6, 4.28 ERA), who will be searching for redemption in a forgiving environment after a brutal start last time out against the Yankees.

About tonight’s game: Price, who gave up five home runs last time out in the Bronx, will square off against righty Brad Keller (2-3, 2.09 ERA), who... really, Kansas City? You won the World Series three years ago! Brad Keller? Yeesh. ERA’s good tho. I’m sorry. It’s been a long day. I went to the zoo.

Mitch Moreland is back, as is Rafael Devers, and that’s about all that’s interesting about tonight’s lineup. Christian Vázquez is behind the plate.

About last night’s game: Total destruction. The Sox were up 8-0 before two innings were over. They won 10-5. Read the recap here.

Forecast: 88 degrees at game time. Break out your DeLoreans.

Today’s reading: “The King of Content,” a book on media mogul Sumner Redstone from friend of the program Keach Hagey. He’s from Boston, at least!

A good tweet from last night:
