The Red Sox (71-32) look to outlast the Orioles (29-73) one more time behind David Price (11-6, 4.17 ERA) tonight in soggy Baltimore (7:05 NESN, ESPN out-of-market).

About tonight’s game: There’s no escape from the showers, as it’s supposed to pour on and off during the night. Hopefully the mist encourages Price the way it did Rick Porcello on Tuesday or Eduardo Rodriguez earlier in the year in Yankee Stadium: Encouraging them to attack the zone and trust their stuff, especially, in this case, against a bottom-of-the-barrel lineup. For their part, the Orioles start Dylan Bundy (6-9, 4.57 ERA), who, while not great, represents, at age 25, one of the few real building blocks the team has on its MLB roster.

Mitch Moreland is out of the lineup, with Steve Pearce played first and J.D. Martinez DHing. Sandy León is back behind the plate, and Brock Holt’s at second base.

About last night’s game: The Red Sox pulled head twice just to see Drew Pomeranz, throwing largely in the high 80s, give away the lead. Joe Kelly continue his descent, and a last-ditch effort came up just short as the Sox fell, 7-6. Read Matt’s recap here.
