Grade the Red Sox draft class

Is this a pointless exercise? Yes. But also who cares?

MLB: Boston Red Sox at Los Angeles Angels Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

We talked a whole lot before this draft about how important it was for the Red Sox as they look to piece the farm system back together after (justifiably, and for many reasons) depleting the depth in the minors. As we all know, we won’t know how good this class actually is for a long time. Hell, we won’t even know who is really included in this class for another month or so considering that we don’t know which players will and which won’t sign. The deadline for that, by the way, is July 6.

Anyway, all of this is to say that judging any draft class immediately after it happens is probably a dumb exercise. At the same, time, it sparks discussion and it isn’t hurting anyone and sometimes we can have fun doing something that isn’t necessarily smart. Stop being such a downer! So, yea, we’re grading the Red Sox draft class. Vote below then head to the comments to explain yourself.
