It’s game 81, and the Sox can’t stop hitting dongs against the Angels.

The Red Sox (53-37) look to beat back the Angels (41-39) yet again behind Rick Porcello (9-3, 3.44 ERA) tonight at Fenway Park (7:10 p.m., NESN, MLBN out-of-market).

About tonight’s game: Porcello will square off against lefty Andrew Heaney (3-4, 3.43 ERA), with the Sox running back the same lineup last night with only Sandy León swapped in for Christian Vazquez. Mike Trout is in the DH spot for the Angels again, which is a small bonus we get a second straight day.

About last night’s game: The Sox pounded the Angels to smithereens behind homers from Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., Christian Vazquez and J.D. Martinez en route to a 9-1 win. Read Matt’s recap here.

Forecast: 74 degrees and cloudy.

Today’s reading: Evan Drellich says David Price and his wiseacre attitude might be perfect for Boston.

A good tweet about yesterday but not from it:
