So does Blake Swihart.

The Red Sox (22-8) are back on the road after a six-game homestand and will start a four-game series against the Texas Rangers (12-20) tonight in Arlington (8:05 p.m.). Read Matt’s series preview here.

About tonight’s game: David Price (2-2, 3.78 ERA) looks to bounce back from a tough start the last time out against lefty Mike Minor (2-1, 4.33 ERA).

Andrew Benintendi sits against the lefty after yesterday’s 0-4, three-strikeout performance. This pushes everyone up in the order, but J.D. Martinez will not DH. Instead, that duty will be performed by... deep sigh... Blake Swihart. Knock’em dead, Blake.

Adrian Beltre and Elvis Andrus are out with injuries, which is to bad.

About yesterday’s game: Mookie Betts became your father as the Sox won, 5-4. Read my recap here.

Forecast: 70 degrees with a chance of showers, though I undershot yesterday’s weather by 10 degrees, so maybe not?

Today’s reading: New feature alert! I’ve been thinking about it for a while, and it’ll usually be news-related, but I’ll start with something I wrote a few years ago after being trolled by a Texas radio station before a different Red Sox/Rangers series.

A tweet suggesting I may in fact be a doctor:
