The Red Seat: Episode 76-Should David Price and the Red Sox Part Ways?

MLB: Boston Red Sox at Toronto Blue Jays Nick Turchiaro-USA TODAY Sports

The Red Sox are 7-6 to start the month of May and a half game out of first place. The team looks good. Betts and J.D. Martinez are powering the offense and Sale and Porcello are leading the way for the pitching staff. Not all is well though, Carson Smith is hurt and we don’t know for how long. Instead of throwing strikes he threw his glove so hard he hurt his shoulder. Not a great look. This news broke after we recorded the podcast, so on this episode we discuss who should be removed from the 25-man-roster when Tyler Thornburg is activated. That discussion is now meaningless. We do go into great detail about David Price’s issues with the Boston media and if he is a fit to be here in the future.
