Mookie is magic, and now we have the shirt to prove it

Mookie Betts has been absolutely incredible this season. He’s playing the same elite defense as always, and he’s still among the best baserunners in baseball. On top of all that, he’s been among the best hitters in the game to start this 2018 season. It’s been a performance that was highlighted with a 3-3 day on Tuesday that included three home runs and a pair of walks. Through Wednesday’s action, the star outfielder is hitting .390/.486/.763 for a 233 wRC+. He’s also walking 14 percent of the time with a strikeout rate below 10 percent. He is, quite frankly, magic.
