Red Sox vs. Orioles lineup: Can the Sox start another winning streak?

They’ll face division rival Baltimore for the first time this season tonight at Fenway behind Eduardo Rodriguez.

The Red Sox (10-2) host old man Buck Showalter and the Orioles (5-8) at Fenway Park (7:10 p.m., NESN) in the first of a four-game set that runs through the Patriots’ Day game. Read Matt’s series preview here.

About tonight’s game: Eduardo Rodriguez (0-0, 7.36 ERA) makes his second start after an erratic but strikeout-heavy performance against the Rays on Sunday that ultimately ended in a Red Sox six-run eighth inning miracle win. E-Rod didn’t make it out of the fourth inning, but he’s still had a better run of things than Orioles starter Chris Tillman (0-2, 8.68 ERA), who hasn’t won a game since May 7, 2017. That’s bad!

Hanley Ramirez is out of Boston’s lineup after being hit on the wrist by a pitch last night. Mitch Moreland moves into his spot at first base and third in the batting order. Tzu-Wei Lin gets his first start of the year at shortstop and bats ninth in place of Brock Holt, who cut off his hair.

About last night’s game: Rick Porcello carried a no-hitter through a 45-minute rain delay and six innings as the Sox teed off on Sonny Gray, only to see a 6-0 lead turn to a 6-3 one in the ninth before a single out was recorded, whereupon Craig Kimbrel came in and shut that shit down to seal the Sox win. The Yankees limped on to Detroit, losers.

Forecast: 54 degrees and cloudy. That’s good.

A good tweet about the last three games:
