Red Sox at Phillies, vs. Twins lineups: J.D. Martinez makes his debut

The Sox split up for two 1:05 p.m. games in sunny, beautiful, oh-so-far-away Florida.

YEAH BUDDY.

BRRR. Winter is back. Fortunately the Sox aren’t just heating up, pounding the ball all over and out of the yard yesterday vs. the Rays, but today they’ll do it in double-speed as they play two games at once down in the Sunshine State.

Speaking of sunshine, J.D. Martinez will debut for Boston today at JetBlue Park against the Twins in Ft. Myers (1:05 p.m., MLB Network), which is almost as important as Boston looking for a 3-0 lead in the Mayor’s Cup race. Just kidding — it’s way more important. Also it’s a good think J.D. is around, because the pitching options today aren’t exactly top-flight; Boston’s got Justin Haley going at the Phillis (1:05 p.m., WEEI only) and Chandler Shepherd against Minny.

Today is about the dingers, then. And the snow. Discuss it all in the gamethreads below. Here are both lineups, starting with the home game:
