After looking at some generally positive superlatives so far in this series — we’ve voted for Team MVP, Unsung Hero and Best Pitcher thus far — we’re taking things to the negative side for a quick second this time around. Today, we’re going to be voting for biggest disappointment. Obviously, we hope the answer to this one will be nobody, but the odds are against that. Even on good teams there are players who disappoint on a consistent basis and underperform relative to their expectations before the season. Think Rick Porcello last year or Pablo Sandoval the year before. Unfortunately, there is going to be someone in 2018 that does not meet the expectations set for the player before the year begins. Vote below to pick who you believe it will be. As with the other polls, just leave a note in the comment if you want someone added to the poll and I’ll get on it ASAP.
