The Red Sox living in their own World

As we know the Red Sox are the 2018 World Series champions. We also know that if the Red Sox don't repeat in 2019 it's kind of a disappointment. The Red Sox just had a historic season, and there is no other way besides winning the World Series again or declining from here on out.

The Sox are this team on a lonely island enjoying a vacation. There at the top of there game having a good time, and nobody wants to leave. The Red Sox are living there best life right now they just had the most wins in franchise history and probably one of the greatest World Series team ever. The players are glad to be on this Red Sox team, because they're probably on a white sandy beach drinking some margaritas on a white sandy beach with their wives.

They're going to try and never get off this winning island. I mean who would, but everybody on the team knows there's a boat headed there way to bring them back home. They know there going to decline that winning game, and start being a little more less dominant. It happens to a lot of teams who win the World Series and then just fall off the edge. Just look at the Kansas City Royals they finished fifth in the AL Central.

The Red Sox can go all the way to the World Series for at least one more year, but then teams are going to try and wash you up like waves on a coast. Once they get on that boat sailing back to home it's going to be a rough ride. Teams are going to beat you and players are going to start demanding trades it's going to be a bad ride.

However the Red Sox are the most successful franchise since 2000. They have the most World Series championships with a four to three ratio to the Giants, and a four to two ratio against the Yankees. So they could just stay right around that island just in case they want to go back every now and then. Actually Boston is the most successful city in sports right now. New England has won five Super Bowls, the Red Sox have won four World Series, and the Celtics have won one NBA finals.

I can see the Red Sox decline a little bit, but Boston is to powerful for another drought.
