The Red Seat: Episode 100-World Series Champs!

They had a hell of a path to get here and are now the greatest team in club history.

MLB: World Series-Boston Red Sox at Los Angeles Dodgers Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

They did it. The greatest Red Sox team in history completed their dominant playoff run by dispatching a great Dodgers team in just five games. The best thing about this series was the fact that it wasn’t Mookie Betts, J.D. Martinez, Xander Bogaerts, or Chris Sale that won it for them. It was guys like Steve Pearce, Rafael Devers, Mitch Moreland, Nate Eovaldi, and Christian Vazquez that set the tone and came up big. Maybe the biggest storyline of all was redemption by David Price. Price continued to build off of his big win the ALCS by pitching in every imaginable situation in the World Series and closing out the Dodgers in a dominant game five. This is as good as it gets, enjoy it and after the party you should all go get some sleep.
