The Red Seat podcast is back for a second consecutive week, but yet again we have no real Red Sox news to report. The good news for you is that this lack of news didn’t stop Matt Collins and I from recording an episode. Instead, we breakdown the latest Hall of Fame inductees and discuss who was snubbed along with our general apathy for the institution. We also talk about how great it was to watch Vlad Guerrero. Man, what an arm! Matt and I also breakdown the latest ZiPS projections and discuss expected and unexpected prognostications. We spend a little time discussing free agency, but mostly we discuss the offensive ceilings of Mookie Betts and Andrew Benintendi. Towards the end of the podcast I slip into a delusional state and imagine opening day is less than a month away. We have reached peak cold stove.
We hope you enjoy the podcast and tell all of your friends about us. In case you missed it last time, we are now a normally functioning podcast that can be listened to on iTunes, Stitcher and just about every other platform. The only one we are currently missing is Spotify, which we are working on. So, go ahead and subscribe to The Red Seat Podcast. Then give us five stars and write us a review telling everyone how much you love us. Do not give us one star and tell everyone how much you hate us, though. Keep that to yourself. Or, alternatively, you can listen to the audio below.
