Red Sox at Reds lineup: Rally, rinse, repeat

The playoffs are won. The lead is four. The magic number is six. Let’s get it.

For the first time in what seems like forever, the Red Sox enter the night with a division lead larger than three games, because last night for what feels like the 10th time in the last month, the Sox rallied for an amazing win. What’s for sure is that for the second in as many nights, the Red Sox are facing a rookie righthander of whom I had never heard. Today -- 4 o’clock game -- it’s Eduardo Rodriguez for the Sox versus Robert Stephenson. (His middle name is William, if your brain filled in “Louis” back there.) Pedey’s out, as is the Reds’ Billy Hamilton. It is time to bring the thunder. See you tomorrow.
