Red Sox Minor Lines: Greenville takes Game One

Game one of the championship series goes to the good guys

Greenville W 8-7 (F/13)

Brett Netzer: 2-4, 1 2B, 2 BB, 3 RBI, 1 K, 1 E

Roldani Baldwin: 2-7, 1 R, 2 K

Bobby Dalbec: 2-7, 1 2B, 1 R, 2 RBI, 4 K

Pedro Castellanos: 1-6

Tyler Hill: 1-7, 1 RBI, 2 K

Yoan Aybar: 2-5, 1 BB, 2 R, 2 K

Darwinzon Hernandez: 3.2 IP, 5 H, 4 R, 2 BB, 6 K

In Game One of the SALLY League championship, the Drive won a wild one that saw the lead change hands a number of times and Kannapolis strand the tying run on second base in the bottom of the 13th. Greenville won thanks to a two-RBI double from Dalbec in the 13th, and the Drive’s offense was impressive all night. Netzer’s performance stands out, and he’s been a steady performer for the organization since he was drafted in the third round of this past summer’s draft. Meanwhile, Hernandez wasn’t awful but he was a little too hittable and wasn’t able to make it deep into the game.
