In Game One of the SALLY League championship, the Drive won a wild one that saw the lead change hands a number of times and Kannapolis strand the tying run on second base in the bottom of the 13th. Greenville won thanks to a two-RBI double from Dalbec in the 13th, and the Drive’s offense was impressive all night. Netzer’s performance stands out, and he’s been a steady performer for the organization since he was drafted in the third round of this past summer’s draft. Meanwhile, Hernandez wasn’t awful but he was a little too hittable and wasn’t able to make it deep into the game.
