On Tuesday, MLB released the schedule for the upcoming postseason, in which the Red Sox will hopefully participating. Things will kick off right at the beginning of October, with the American League Wild Card Game on October 3 on ESPN and the National League Wild Card Game taking place the next day on TBS. Obviously, the Red Sox are hoping to avoid that one-game playoff, and they are currently in a good position to do so. If they do end up winning their division and do avoid that Wild Card Game, the ALDS will start two days later on the fifth.
