Red Sox at Yankees lineup: It’s time to batter old man C.C.

Can the Sox keep their winning streak alive into September?

5.5 games. That’s what’s separating us from the Yankees right now. By Sunday, it will be somewhere between 1.5 — terrifying, but still firm — and 9.5, at least over the Bronx Bombers, who could fall to third, and out of a wild card spot, in the process.

For all the massacres the historically second-place Red Sox have endured at home against the Yankees in August, it is nice to have to chance to return the favor. Every win puts us one step closer to putting them away for good. Our first chance comes tonight at 7:05 p.m. with Eduardo Rodriguez against C.C. Sabathia. I know Sabathia has been great against the Sox, but I have a good feeling about it. I also think Aaron Judge will strike out.
