The Red Sox lost a tough one on Thursday with Chris Sale getting shelled to a degree that we frankly are not used to. One thing Boston has been very good at lately is the ability to avoid losses piling up on each other. They'll look to continue that tonight with Rick Porcello on the mound. Speaking of Porcello, he's also looking to prove that his last few outings haven't been a fluke and that he can make it deep into games while allowing just a few runs. This is a very winnable series for the Red Sox against a bad Orioles pitching staff, and it will be a lot more winnable if they take Game One.
