Red Sox vs. Yankees lineup: Behold, the rare early Sunday rivalry game

It’ll be Rick Porcello vs. Sonny Gray as the Sox look to take the series before sundown, for once.

For the first time in what seems like an eternity, the Red Sox (70-52) will face the still-dumb Yankees (66-56) on Sunday afternoon — not Sunday night — at Fenway Park (1:30 p.m., NESN, TBS). It’ll be reigning American League Cy Young Award winner Rick Porcello (4.59 ERA) against newly acquired Sonny Gray (3.37 ERA). Eduardo Nunez sits, with Brock Holt \o/ taking his spot batting leadoff and playing second, but that’s really all, except wonderboy Rafael Devers has moved back to the fifth spot in the batting order, because he’s great.
