Red Sox vs. Indians lineup: The day after, Devers creeps up to fifth

The third baseman is moves up the batting order following the Sox’ signature win of the year.

Wow! One night after this happened, the first-place Red Sox (59-49) look to make it three in a row over the hopefully deflated Indians (57-48) tonight at Fenway Park (7:10 p.m., NESN). It’s charmers Rick Porcello (4.55 ERA) and Trevor Bauer (5.25 ERA and a true piece of work) in the game after the game of the year, as Boston goes for the sweep. Rafeal Devers bats fifth, as the additions of him and Eduardo Nunez have paid back 99th percentile value in the short times with the club. Maybe Dave Dombrowski knows something? But maybe NOT, too.

Anyhow, yeah. Last night was great. Let’s make this one quicker.
