It’s a matchup of top pitchers when Sale, the AL Cy Young Award favorite, faces Carlos Carrasco.

The Red Sox (58-49) look to make it two in a row over the Indians (57-47) when they meet tonight at Fenway Park (7:10 p.m., NESN) and again try to pass the Yankees to go back into first place in the AL East. They’ll play behind Chris Sale (2.37 ERA), who is going to win the Cy Young Award:

Holy smokes! The Indians counter with the talented righty Carlos Carrasco (3.58 ERA) as they look to bedevil Sale, as they have historically done. Dustin Pedroia’s on the DL, which means Eduardo Nunez is back at second base but now he’s batting third, with Brock Holt \o/ playing left field and batting out of the two-hole. Rafael Devers is batting sixth, while Mitch Moreland falls all the way to the eighth spot.
