Game 106 Gamethread: Red Sox vs. Royals

After a long, wild game on Saturday night the Red Sox and Royals are faced with a quick turnaround for the rubber match of this series. It seems as if it's been forever since the Red Sox were able to eek out a victory in a series, and this would certainly be a hell of a start to a nice run if they were able to take two of three from the hottest team in baseball. They'll have Drew Pomeranz going on Sunday, and they could really use the efficient version of the lefty after Eduardo Rodriguez only tossed four innings last night. Jason Hammel will be going against a Red Sox offense that will want to build off Saturday night's effort.
