Monday night is the Home Run Derby, which is an oddly controversial event on the baseball schedule. Whether or not it should happen isn’t really controversial, but there is disagreement on whether or not it is a fun event. I firmly believe this is one of the best nights of the year, and the new tournament-style format has made it that much better. Here is how the bracket looks for this year’s Derby.

Get ready for some POWER. pic.twitter.com/RQJ64bX70w
Here’s how I have it playing out:
Round 1
Stanton over Sanchez
Sano over Moustakas
Judge over Bour
Bellinger over Blackmon
Round 2
Sano over Stanton
Bellinger over Judge
Round 3
Bellinger over Sano
Mainly, I’m excited for the possibility of a Judge vs. Bellinger semifinal matchup. And a Judge vs. Stanton final. And really anything involving Aaron Judge. He’s amazing.
How do you see this one playing out?
