Red Sox vs. Blue Jays Lineups: Happy Sale Day

It’s Sale Day!

Happy Sale Day, everyone. The Red Sox are looking to win their third straight and their fifth in their last six games. They should have a good chance with Chris Sale on the mound. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but he’s a fairly talented pitcher. This will be the lefty’s second matchup against the Blue Jays this season, with his first coming back on April 20. That was his best start of the season, as he threw eight shutout innings with 13 strikeouts and just one walk.

On the other side, the Blue Jays are throwing out Francisco Liriano, who hasn’t been great this year but still has the talent to put together strong outings. He is also a southpaw, which means Chris Young and Sam Travis get in Boston’s lineup over Andrew Benintendi and Mitch Moreland. The full lineups are as follows.
