Red Sox vs. Twins lineups: Andrew Benintendi gets the day off

And Hanley Ramirez is still out

The Red Sox are going for their third straight win on Wednesday and a clinch of a series victory against the Twins. After losing two disappointing series to the Angels and Royals, they really could use at least three out of four against Minnesota this week. They’ll be relying on Rick Porcello to help with that tonight, and while it’s been an overall disappointing season for the 2016 Cy Young winner, he did look much better the last time out. His two-seamer was the most impressive part of that outing, and if he can command that pitch tonight as he did his last time out it should be another step in the right direction.

On the offensive side of things, Hanley Ramirez remains out of the lineup for the third straight game, and if he has one more absence it would be curious that he’s not on the disabled list. With the lefty on the mound, Chris Young will be back in the lineup on Wednesday, too. Instead of DHing, however, he will be playing left field and giving Andrew Benintendi a day off. Here are the full lineups.
