Red Sox vs. Twins lineup: Chris Young bats cleanup against the lefty

Boston will counter with a southpaw of their own, while Sam Travis gets the start at first base.

The Red Sox (42-34) look to build the momentum of a Chris Sale Day victory when they take on the Twins (39-35) tonight at Fenway Park (7:10 p.m., NESN). Drew Pomeranz (4.07 ERA), who has been Boston’s second-best starter over the last month, goes for the Sox, while lefty long-ball-allower extraordinaire Hector Santiago (5.26 ERA) goes for Minny. The platoon is on with the southpaw on the mound and, with Hanley Ramirez out of the lineup, Chris Young will serve as DH and bat cleanup. Sam Travis also gets the call, as does Andrew Benintendi, who will hit against the lefty but bat seventh. Here are the full lineups:
