The Red Sox and the Angels start a three-game series on Friday at Fenway as Boston looks to recover from their series loss in Kansas City. The game isn't what's on most of our minds tonight, though. No, tonight is the night the Red Sox retire David Ortiz' number 34. It's a ceremony we've been looking forward to since we learned of his retirement, and the organization usually does really well at this sort of thing. We'll open up the thread early so we can all enjoy this ceremony together.
