The most publicized day of the draft is obviously the first one since, well, you know, the best players go early. The franchise cornerstones are picked there much more often than they are picked in the last two days. With that being said, there are plenty of high-profile players who have come from round three through ten. There could very easily be some in this Red Sox class, too. The most notable pick of the day was like Alex Scherff, who will certainly take an overslot deal to sign. Jake Thompson was another high-profile arm taken on Tuesday. The end of the day was marked by college seniors to make room for their earlier picks. It was an interesting group of players, all together, and you can get re-acquainted with all of the picks here.
Now, with all of that in mind, how did the Red Sox do on Day Two?
