The Red Sox (33-27) look to make it two in a row against the Tigers (29-31) in a battle of marquee pitchers: Chris Sale (2.89 ERA) starts for Boston, while former American League Cy Young Award winner and Most Valuable Player Justin Verlander (4.63 ERA) goes for the kittens in the second matchup between the star hurlers this year tonight at Fenway Park (7:15 p.m. NESN). Detroit won the first one; it’s only fair that we win this one, right?

Not much else to say, as Detroit’s batting order is unchanged from yesterday and Boston has swapped Josh Rutledge for Pablo Sandoval and that’s pretty much it. This could be a fast one, folks. Here are the full lineups:
